Dairyarrhea
I understand that many of us cannot eat dairy without getting dairyarrhea.
Yep, I relate. Here's my dairy diary.
- Milk gives me milkarrhea.
- No problem: I can substitute with unsweetened almond milk
- Cheese is yummy, but if I eat it, I will be leaving "farting gifts" everywhere!

- Daiya Dairy Free Cheese or
- Nutritional Yeast

So I made this Dairy Free Omlette. And it is an O.M.G (Omelette Made Great). You would never guess in a million years I used "faux cheese". Yep, I just saved you from Omelerrhea!
Recipe:
- Spray a non-stick skillet (with a lid) with PAM non-stick cooking spray (medium heat).
- Add 2 cups of spinach, 5 sliced cherry tomatoes & 1 cup of peppers (any colour you want: I used red, orange and yellow).
- Add 1 cup of egg whites
- Add 1/8 cup of Daiya Dairy Free Cheese Shreds. I like the Pepperjack flavour! OR add 1 TBSP nutritional yeast.
- Mix it all around and then close the lid. This technique simultaneously cooks both sides. Once cooked, you can fold it in half or leave it like a big flat pancake.
- Season with black pepper and Mrs. Dash
- Enjoy!
Simmer Down, Pot Roast!
- I'm not running a dictatorship. These are just ingredient options. You can substitute. For example, you can use the entire egg and not just the egg whites. Use mushrooms instead of peppers. Use Kale instead of spinach. You get the point!
