Yum Yum Give Me Some!
I love making whoopee {pies}, fluff, ass cream (oops, I meant ice cream) and pudding with Casein Protein because it binds the ingredements in my recipes together like glue ... but glue that I can eat. And it tastes good in my mouth (I like chaw-coh-lat and van-eel-eh). Worst case, you can use it to grout your tub with. OMG I just ended that sentence with a preposition ... something up with which I will not put.
Case In Point:
Now, as a case in point, let's look at my awesome almighty casein Recipe.
Chocolate Chip Protein Fluff: starring Bodybuilding.com 100% Casein Protein! Look! I even photoshopped a chocolate chip frame around it because I'm friggin' fancy as FAK!
Quick Facts
- Prep time: 10 minutes
- Only 4 ingredients
- Low Carb and Low Sugar (diabetic friendly)
- Low Fat
- Deliciously delicious!
- It’s high in casein protein. Casein protein digests SLOWLY, providing a slow-release amino stream for an 8 hour period. This means it can be used to help repair muscle and prevent muscle breakdown while you sleep for 8 hours. Therefore, the optimal time to take it would be before bed.
Easy Recipe:
Add the following to a large bowl and mix with an electric hand mixer for 10 minutes (this creates the fluff). Be careful of the splatterz: Brethren & sisters, put on your aprons. If you're friggin' fancy, go ahead and use a fancy stand mixer like this you lucky SOB- while all the rest of us use the handjob machine and get tendinitis.
- 1 scoop of Bodybuilding.com 100% Casein – Chocolate
- 1 cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 1/4 tsp of gluten-free xanthan gum (it's a thickening agent)
Pour the fluff into a dish and sprinkle with 1 tsp (~5g) raw cacao nibs. This will make it even more prettier & tastyful.
