Granola Bars
- Today I'm going to teach you how to make granola bars!
- The recipe yields 16 bars.
- I recommend you watch the short video at the bottom of this post before making the recipe.
Materials:
- cookie sheet
- mixing bowl
- Measuring Cup
- glass baking pan
Ingredients:
- 2/3 cup chopped peanuts
- 3 cup rolled oats (or use 5 Grain Rolled Hot Cereal)
- 1/2 scoop Whey (vanilla)
- sprinkle of cinnamon
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips
- 2 mashed ripe bananas
- 1 container (1/2 cup) unsweetened applesauce

calories 151, fat 5.6g, sat fat 1.4g, cholesterol: 3.2mg, sodium 5.5mg, carbohydrates: 22.1g, fibre 4.3g, sugars 5.4g, protein 5.6g
Written Recipe:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
- Spread the 3 cups of oats & 2/3 cup of chopped peanuts onto a cookie sheet and toast in the oven for 10 minutes
- Place the following into a large mixing bowl and mix by hand
- 2 mashed ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
- sprinkle of cinnamon
- 1/2 scoop Whey (vanilla)
- Add this to the bowl and mix:
- the toasted oats and peanuts
- 1/3 cup chocolate chips
- Transfer this mixture to a glass baking dish lined with parchment paper. Press it down firmly.
- Bake for 30 minutes
- Let cool for 20 minutes before cutting into 16 bars.
- Store in an airtight container.
