Monster Eyeballs for Halloween (turkey meatballs)

Turkey Eyeballs for Halloween

Scare the family this Hallowe'en with creepy turkey meatballs that stare back at you!

Easy Recipe:

(makes 12 turkey meatballs):

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F

In a bowl, combine the following and mix by hand:

  • 1 package of extra lean ground turkey (12 oz)
  • 1 TBSP minced onion (you can use dehydrated onion flakes to save time)
  • black pepper
  • 1/4 cup minced green pepper (chop chop!)
  • 1 TBSP Nutritional Yeast Seasoning(To impart a cheesy flavour)
  • 2 TBSP egg whites

Roll into 12 meatballs and place on a cookie sheet lined with a Silpat Non-Stick Baking Mat.

Cut 6 green pimiento stuffed olives in half and insert them deeply into the top of each meatball to mimic an iris and pupil.

Place in the oven for 30-35 minutes until cooked through
